Micah Hewson has been promoted to Head of Development at ITV Studios Australia, effective immediately, reporting to Ben Ulm, the newly appointed Head of Content. Hewson will work closely with Ben Ulm and other genre heads to develop innovative programming and third party opportunities with broadcasters.
Hewson refined his craft for producing, creating and adapting television formats at Southern Star Entertainment (Endemol) as an executive producer working with Australian free-to-air broadcasters, Network Ten, Seven Network and Nine Network and UK broadcasters ITV and SKY. He has been Executive Producer of Development at ITV for four years.

In recent year’s Hewson was on the development team for ITV’s award winning series Paddock to Plate, which is currently in production for series 2, and River Cottage Australia(series 1), adapted from the popular Channel 4 UK series, and Please Marry My Boy!, an original Australian production. Hewson honed his skills as a producer of live format TV for Big Brother Australia (series 1-6) as well as event programming including the ARIA Awards, and studio shows such as Ready Steady Cook.
