Set up in 2013, 42 has a background in feature film production and ITVS GE will work closely with them as they move into television. They have several series already in development with broadcasters as well as close ties with the U.S. creative industries.

42, owned and run by Rory Aitken, Ben Pugh, Josh Varney and Kate Buckley, boasts a roster of high profile actors including: Michael Caine, Rhys Ifans, Rupert Friend, Christopher Lee, Nicholas Hoult, Ben Drew, Emily Mortimer, Tom Hollander, Jonny Lee Miller, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Tom Mison, Ed Skrein, and Sam Keeley.
Writers and directors represented by 42 include: William Monahan, Lynne Ramsay, Peter Cattaneo, Eran Creevy, Tom Harper, Johnny Campbell, Dominic Minghella, Terry George, Daniel Wolfe, Ben Vanstone, Rowan Athale, Nima Nourizadeh, Noel Clarke, Daniel Barber, and Baran Bo Odar. Previous film projects include the Bafta-nominated and critically-acclaimed Shifty starring Riz Ahmed and Danny Mays and Welcome to the Punch starring James McAvoy, which was released worldwide in 2013 and executive produced by Ridley Scott.
42 is currently in post production on Monsters: The Dark Continent, the sequel to Gareth Edwards’ highly acclaimed film, Monsters. They are also in pre-production on two further projects. They are teaming up again with Eran Creevy on his new project, Autobahn, starring Nicholas Hoult. The second project is The Autopsy of Jane Doe, starring Martin Sheen and directed by Andre Ovredal (Trollhunter).
42 received the BFI’s Vision Award in 2013.
