Bangkok – Thailand’s cable satellite television operator TrueVisions have launched global sports channel beIN SPORTS on its platform, which will feature a line-up of content in high-definition.

The channel beIN SPORTS 1 began its live broadcast on TrueVisions on February 5, and fans can look forward to premium live content that includes football content from leagues around the world: such as the Scottish Professional Football League, Major League Soccer (MLS); club content from Liverpool TV,

Spurs TV and Paris St-Germain’s ‘This is Paris’; cup tournaments including the Scottish Challenge Cup and Scottish League Cup; international football from the Brazil World Tour; summer football friendly matches, as well as football documentaries, magazine programmes, and the Serie A news update show.

Other sports include ATP 250 tennis events, top rugby action from the RBS Six Nations, European basketball in the Spanish Basketball League (Liga Endesa) and the ACB Copa del Rey, events from the Olympic Council of Asia including the Asian Beach Games 2014, the Italian Volleyball League, International Baseball Federation events such as the Baseball World Cup and much more.

The launch in Thailand extends beIN SPORTS’ rapid expansion in Asia, with Thailand seen as a prime and definitive market.
