Jamie Lynn, EVP Sales & Distribution EMEA, FremantleMedia International, said, “Just as its predecessor found a huge following, Wentworth is already must-see viewing for audiences around the world. Its universal theme about the human condition, its strong female leads and its gritty script resonate with international viewers regardless of geography and make this show compelling viewing.”
Since launching in Australia earlier this year, this series has become the most watched non-sports programme in Australian subscription television history ever; while in the UK, the series became the number one primetime Australian drama in the UK since 2002.
