Beijing – Ku6 Media Co., Ltd., a leading internet video company in China focusing on user-generated content (UGC), has announced its collaboration with Zhejiang TV, a top TV station in China, to launch the UGC Entertainment Awards – the very first TV and internet simulcast programme focusing on UGC content in China.
The video makers not only gain high copyright license fee for their videos chosen by the programme but will also be invited to the UGC Entertainment Awards ceremony with a chance to win the final UGC Entertainment award. Shao Hua, who has been hosting The Voice of China, will also be the host of the UGC Entertainment Awards. The programme will air simultaneously on Ku6 Media’s website and Zhejiang TV every Thursday for 12 weeks, starting on October 17, 2013.
