James Spader
Culver City, California – Sony Pictures Television (SPT) has announced that its global networks will premiere the drama The Blacklist in 66 countries spanning four continents. The suspense thriller starring multiple Emmy-winning actor James Spader will be available in 11 languages to more than 100 million SPT Networks viewers worldwide, airing across Asia and Poland on AXN, and on Sony Entertainment Television (SET) across Latin America and Brazil, as well as Russia & CIS.
“SPT’s global networks group strives to deliver the hottest U.S. series, so we naturally pursued the most buzzed-about show at this year’s LA Screenings,” says Marie Jacobson, executive vice president, programming and production for SPT Networks. “From its stellar cast to the great twists and turns, The Blacklist is the perfect event-driven TV series to punctuate our networks’ prime time lineups.”
