Channel M, FOX International Channels’ (FIC) leading Korean entertainment channel, has announced that its highly successful talent show series, K-Pop Star Hunt, is set for a third season. Singapore-based airline Scoot is title sponsor, and Scoot: K-Pop Star Hunt 3 will also feature FNC Entertainment, one of the top-tier music labels in Korea, as the official training partner for this eight-part series.

The show attracts hopefuls with outstanding singing and dancing abilities from seven regions: Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia and Thailand, and the two most outstanding contestants from each region will be selected for further training in Seoul.

The entire audition and training process will be filmed and broadcast across Asia as a weekly survival reality television programme and is set to premiere in November 2013 on channel M, and simulcast on entertainment channels STAR Chinese Channel, STAR World, and music channel, Channel [V].

The returning talent show-themed series is also part of FIC Asia’s strategy to develop and expand locally relevant returnable series.
