Miami, Florida – Venevision International, the global distributor of the Cisneros Group of Companies, presented Celine… une seule fois (Only Once), a concert before more than 60,000 fans in her native Quebec and captured live in HD.
The concert took place on July 27th, 2013 at Quebec City’s Plains of Abraham park – her only show to be presented outside of Las Vegas for the next five years.
More than a dozen camera angles were used to capture the excitement and energy of 60,000 fans assembled. The 90-minute show featured an elaborate stage and special effects. The concert was produced by QuebeComm, one of Canada’s leading entertainment companies.
Venevision International has the distribution rights for Latin America. In addition, Venevision International has an extended and productive association with QuebeComm, successfully distributing their television productions, such as the comedy series LOL:-). For Celine… Only Once QuebeComm has enlisted Venevision Internationals’ expertise to promote the commercialisation of the television show throughout Latin America.
Celine Dion has received two Oscars (“The Beauty and the Beast” in 1993 and “My Heart Will Go On” in 1998), five Grammy Awards, three Victory music awards, 39 Félix awards, and was honoured with the Legend Award in recognition of her global success and outstanding contribution to the music industry at the World Music Awards ceremony in 2007.
