London – BBC Worldwide Latin America returns to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with the 10th edition of BBC Showcase Latin America. As Latin America’s only television market hosted by a single distributor, the showcase will welcome broadcasters and buyers from across the region for exclusive screenings of BBC Worldwide’s latest programmes.
This year, the Rio Showcase event expands to include participation from the full range of branded media business. Currently, as a global multimedia company, BBC Worldwide offers a comprehensive range of BBC branded commercial solutions supporting the extensive media platforms available in Latin America. Fred Medina, in his new role as EVP Managing Director for BBC Worldwide’s business in Latin America, will host the event that will feature programme sales, formats, channels, digital, and consumer products trading opportunities. Paul Dempsey, President of Global Markets for BBC Worldwide will also attend and speak at the event.
