Singapore – Singapore-based Tiny island Productions has announced that its 26 episode series, Dream Defenders will be available on the free, ad-supported Hulu and Hulu Plus subscription service this summer.
The series, based on original concepts developed by Tiny Island Productions, focuses on producing “Future Proof” content across multiple new platforms. The Los Angeles-based writing team was supervised by industry veterans Eric and Julia Lewald, who have been show runners together or individually on 14 series, including X-Men: The Animated Series and Young Hercules. Dream Defenders made its first debut in the United States on Discovery-owned 3D channel 3net in September 2011.
Together with the series launch, Tiny Island has also launched an online competition where winners can receive 3D glasses-free tablets. Also included is a chance to visit the animation studio in Singapore plus a trip to a yet-announced Dream Defenders exhibition in Singapore.
David Kwok, CEO, Tiny Island Productions, commented, “We recognised the value of reaching out to new digital audiences across multiple platforms and we are very fortunate to have Hulu as our partner.”
