Singapore and Beijing – CNBC today announced that it is launching Inside China, a new monthly half-hour programme providing fresh, original and in-depth coverage of China, on March 15.
CNBC’s Eunice Yoon will present the programme, which will provide viewers with a front row seat to the historic changes shaping the country. Yoon will travel around the country covering the trends that are defining the new China and influencing the world.
The show kicks off with a focus on China’s new leadership and whether it has a genuine chance to enact reforms. It will also profile Ma Jun, someone who has been called one of China’s most influential people for making the fight against pollution a personal crusade, and will ask: is the internet China’s best hope for stopping corruption? Former head of Google China and influential blogger, Lee Kai Fu, is among those who give an answer.
Inside China will air across CNBC’s regional networks in Asia Pacific and EMEA. The programme will be produced from CNBC’s bureau in Beijing and edited in CNBC’s Asia headquarters in Singapore.
