Sydney, Australia – Australia’s SLR Productions has launched its first iPad game for the preschool brand, Guess How Much I Love You – The Adventures of Little Nutbrown Hare.
Developed with the assistance of Screen Australia and Screen NSW, this new application developed for pre-schoolers aged 3 – 5, coincides with the launch of the television series’ website and keeps love as the major theme. Each adventure in the series has a particular season as its backdrop. Now available in Australia and to be launched into other markets later this year, the “Guess How Much I Love You – Interactive Episodes” iPad game application can be downloaded here for A$2.99.
“This is the first foray into the creation of consumer digital content for SLR Productions. Guess How Much I Love You – The Adventures of Little Nutbrown Hare has become an international brand success and we wanted to develop both an online destination as well as an innovative game experience for fans to immerse themselves into the world of the Nutbrown Hares. They have been created with both parent and child in mind with age appropriate and fun, engaging content,” said Executive Producer and CEO of SLR Productions, Suzanne Ryan.
The game features two full length interactive episodes, integrated with games and puzzles to create an engaging storytelling experience. Kids and parents will enjoy the interactive scenes which allow them to create sounds and their own animations, the accelerometer-based games using the in-built tilt function of the device to navigate obstacles from the series, and the matching games using characters and themed items.
The preschool show from SLR Productions, Germany’s KI.KA and Singapore’s Scrawl Studios is a 52×11’ series and is the first adaptation of the classic picture book with the same title. The show won the award for Best 2D Animated Programme at the 17th Asian Television Awards last year.
