Beijing – CCTV and MTV Mandarin recently announced the recipients of the 2012 CCTV MTV Mandarin Music Honors at a star-studded event held at the MasterCard Center in Beijing.

Celebrating the best in music from China, Taiwan and Hong Kong as well as celebrating artists from across Asia and the world, the eleventh CCTV MTV Mandarin Music Honors featured 22 categories. Han Hong, Li Jian, Phoenix Legend and Hu Xia took top honours among the mainland Chinese artists, and Taiwanese and Hong Kong artists awarded included Karen Mok, Jam Hsiao and Wubai & China Blue.

Performers at the show included Japanese supergroup AKB48, 15 year-old American singer-songwriter Greyson Chance, Chinese diva and music legend Han Hong, popular Hong Kong singer Fish Leong and many others.

The CCTV MTV Mandarin Music Honors will air throughout China, Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia on MTV Mandarin on September 5. The award ceremony will also air on MTV Taiwan and MTV Japan.
