The Rose d’Or Festival recently made its Nominees announcement in Asia for the first time. Held in Kuala Lumpur, 36 programmes were shortlisted to compete for the coveted Golden Rose awards in Lucerne, Switzerland, from 6 to 10 May.
The 400 programmes submitted to compete this year came from more 40 territories including Australia, Germany, UK, the Netherlands, Israel, Canada, Spain, South Korea and the US. A 50-member jury chose the nominated programmes for their quality and creativity.
The Rose d’Or Festival competition brings together the best of the year’s entertainment programmes in 13 different categories, including the newly introduced telenovela, series, lifestyle, TV movie, children and youth categories.
