Singapore – HBO Asia and Infinite Studios have revealed the cast and crew for the co-production Dead Mine. The film will be directed and co-written by acclaimed British horror director Steven Sheil. Dead Mine also involves key creative talents such as in-house production designer Ian Bailie, director of photography John Radel ACS and artist Orlando Bassi. Dead Mine is an English-language horror film about a rich amateur treasure hunter and his expert group who are lured by the legend of Yamashita’s Gold into the Indonesian jungle. Once they find themselves trapped in an abandoned WWII Japanese bunker, they face the terrifying reality that the only way out is further in… Shot entirely in Batam, Indonesia, both on location and in Infinite Studios’ brand new sound stage facility, this is the first-ever original feature film co-production for HBO Asia. It will be given a theatrical release in selected Asian territories followed by exclusive television premieres across the HBO Asia network in 2012.
