London – KidsCo has announced its partnership with Cablelink, a major Pay-TV platform in the Philippines. The kids’ channel will be available in English on the platform’s basic tier package from the first quarter of 2012. KidsCo will air its growing slate of Asian content including original productions such as Boo & Me series 1 and 2 and first-run exclusive of Bommi & Friends; as well as classic content such as Sonic Underground and The Wiggles. Next year KidsCo will debut Sinbad in Space, created in Asia by Image Venture. Paul Robinson, Global CEO at KidsCo, said that Asia is very important to KidsCo, and programmes such as Sinbad in Space and Traces being produced locally in the region is part of the network’s strategy to connect with kids on a deeper level.
