BBC Worldwide has licensed the new comedy programme starring Steve Coogan, Alan Partridge’s Mid-Morning Matters, along with a host of other comedy titles, to Australian network Foxtel’s The Comedy Channel. The recently concluded deal sees series one and two of Alan Partridge’s Mid-Morning Matters (S1 6×25’, S2 6×25’ A Baby Cow Production), premiering on the channel in early 2012. After an eight year absence, Alan Partridge is back as he hosts daytime radio show Mid-Morning Matters, an all new platform for his trademark mix of banality, wincingly tasteless comments and disturbing insights.
