Global Television is broadcasting its 15th year of the Bathurst 1000, a 1000-kilometre V8 Supercars race held from 7 to 9 October in Australia, in High Definition (HD). This is the first time a V8 Supercars race will be broadcast in HD and coverage will be available live on Australia’s Seven Network and during prime time throughout North America on the Speed network. Global Television will supply its HD Supertrucks, HD1 and HD2, to V8 Supercar Television, Australian internet service provider BigPond, and more than 130 countries around the world.
