Singapore – Karen Johnston, who was programming director at Universal Networks International, has left the network. David Gunson, who joined UNI as vice president of channels for South East Asia earlier this year, will be taking over her duties until further announcement. Gunson currently leads the optimisation of NBC Universal’s channel brands in the region – Universal Channel, Syfy Universal, DIVA Universal and 13th Street Universal – to drive overall growth. According to a UNI spokesperson who requested anonymity, the move is part of the programming restructuring at Universal, and more changes are expected.
