Hong Kong – An all-new bilingual travel series, Hot Spot Korea, premieres on 20 August at 3pm simultaneously on Japan’s Tabi Channel and on Hellotv District Channel in Korea. From 27 August, the show will regularly air on Saturdays at 4pm on Tabi Channel. Co-produced by Tabi Channel and CJ HelloVision, Hot Spot Korea introduces popular destinations around Korea in 30-minute television episodes, presented in HD. The show is hosted by Japanese actress Rie Akiba and Korean comedian Kim Hyun Ki, and features guest Korean celebrities in different episodes, giving Japanese travellers tips on the latest Korean trends and tourist attractions. Japanese viewers can also catch the special 90-minute premiere block this Saturday on Tabi Channel, 20 August at 3pm with special guests, actor Kim Seung Soo and singer Han Groo.
