Beijing – Metan Development Group and Sino Thinker International Culture Communication Co. Ltd. have entered a long-term strategic partnership to produce live entertainment, cultural, fashion and sporting events in China. The LXD (The Legion of Extraordinary Dancers) by film producer John Chu marks the first successful joint project produced by the companies. The LXD debuted in China on June 24 at Master Center, Beijing, as part of the Mini Live 2011 New Products Launch. Launched in 2009, Metan is a venture created to develop and distribute entertainment content and media specifically for international markets. The company’s founders are entertainment industry veteran Martin Pompadur, E! Entertainment Television co-founder Larry Namer, Russian advertising agency entrepreneur Oganes Sobolev and Amerilink founder Jean Zhang. A member company of the Olympic Center Village Committee, Sino Thinker boasts commercial resources, close governmental relationships and a vast experience in the management and organization of large cultural and sporting events.
