Singapore – Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) has appointed Jimmy Kim to the role of vice president of Content Distribution. Kim is based in Singapore and reports to Indra Suharjono, Executive Vice President and Managing Director, VIMN North & Southeast Asia. Kim will be responsible for optimizing sales and client services for the distribution of Viacom’s channels and content with all types of business partners across North and Southeast Asia. He will manage relationships with the company’s cable and satellite distribution partners as well as work closely with management to identify new opportunities across online, mobile and IPTV. “Jimmy’s appointment as vice president of Content Distribution reflects our broadened approach to working with our distribution partners, and he is incredibly well suited to lead our efforts across North and Southeast Asia,” said Indra Suharjono, executive vice president/managing director for MTVN North and Southeast Asia. “Jimmy’s assuming a role designed to work hand in hand with each of our existing distribution partners as well as maximize opportunities that Viacom’s content presents across new platforms across the continent.”
