Taipei – The pay TV-channel for classical music, Unitel Classica HD has launched on Taiwan’s KBRO channel line-up. The new deal marks Classica HD’s third launch on a main cable operator in Taiwan after CNS and TFN. Classica HD presents in high definition operas and concerts from today as well as legendary classics with leading orchestras, conductors and musicians. Based in Germany, Classica established itself as a premium pay-TV-channel more than ten years ago on Japan’s Tohokushinsha. The HD-version of Unitel Classica has expanded onto several platforms in Korea and Taiwan. In Europe, the Unitel Classica channels are established as leading TV channels for high ranking classical music in various countries such as Germany, Italy, Spain, Austria and Switzerland as well as in South Africa.
