London – International pre-school entertainment channel JimJam has picked up Hello Kitty and Denver: The Last Dinosaur for its Italian feed. JimJam acquired three Hello Kitty specials from Sanrio, which begin in the spring on the channel’s Italian feed. The specials A Journey through Fairyland and Journey to The West are exclusive territory premieres. English with Kitty has also been acquired as part of the deal. From World Event Productions Jim Jam has secured Denver: The Last Dinosaur which will also launch on the channel’s Italian feed in the spring. The 50 x 30’ series revolves around the adventures of a fun-loving dinosaur and his group of ingenious young friends: Jeremy, Mario, Wally, Heather, Casey and Shades. Pursued by fortune seekers, Denver always finds himself in the middle of unexpected adventures. Commenting on the acquisitions, Kathy Fairbairn, Director of programming for JimJam said, “We are delighted to have secured these exciting shows for JimJam. Hello Kitty is immensely popular in Italy so it is fantastic that we are able to broadcast three exclusive specials. Denver: The Last Dinosaur has already proved a hit in 28 territories and is yet another strong offering for JimJam.”
