Los Angeles, CA/Cannes – CBS Studios International has concluded licensing agreements for the Showtime series The Borgias across Europe, Asia, Latin America, the Middle East and Africa. Recent international sales for The Borgias include deals in Germany, Greece, Israel, Italy, Korea, Turkey, and pan region agreements throughout Africa, Eastern Europe, Latin America and the Middle East. This builds on previous announced deals with Sky Atlantic in the United Kingdom and Ireland, and with Telecinco in Spain. The Borgias stars Oscar-winning actor Jeremy Irons as Rodrigo Borgia, the cunning, manipulative patriarch of The Borgia family who builds an empire and orchestrates a relentless reign of power and flamboyant cruelty.
