Hong Kong – Asia Satellite Telecommunications Co. Ltd. (AsiaSat) has appointed Philip Balaam as its vice president, business development. Balaam will be responsible for identifying and driving new business development and accelerating the strategic planning for the company’s growth in businesses and services. Balaam joins AsiaSat after spending 12 years with Arianespace in Singapore. Prior to this, he had worked with Matra Marconi Space (now Astrium) in various marketing and engineering positions.
