James Ross, ITV Studios regional director for Asia, announced today he is leaving the company. Ross, who has been with the company for five years, was instrumental in developing the ITV brand in Asia and oversaw the expansion of its syndication business in the region. “I’ve had a great time, and we’ve achieved a lot that I’m proud of,” Ross told TVAPlus. “We launched the ITV Granada entertainment channel across Asia, and most recently tied up with activeTV to form ITV Studios Asia…With all that now complete, it’s the right time to move on to some great new opportunities.” Ross is handing the reins of the Asian operations to his colleague Augustus Dulgaro, who is based in Sydney.
