MEASAT Satellite Systems Sdn. Bhd. announced today that an agreement was signed with GlobeCast to distribute two new channels, TV5Monde Asia and the Travel Channel. The two new channels are being broadcast across Asia, Australia and the Middle East via the MEASAT-3 satellite. MEASAT-3 is collocated with the MEASAT-3a satellite at the prime hot slot of 91.5°E. The satellite’s strong neighbourhood is able to bring these international channels to a wide audience across the region.
