London – FremantleMedia announced the promotion of Stephen Flint to the position of director of operations, worldwide entertainment. His new position will commence with immediate effect and will see him take on a greater role in the management of new and existing relationships between FremantleMedia and its creative content partners around the world. Flint previously held the position of SVP, content partnerships at FremantleMedia and during his time with the company he has fostered long-standing relationships with third party format owners such as Syco, 19 and Mark Burnett Productions. These relationships have seen the roll-out of the formats Idols, X Factor, Got Talent, Farmer Want’s A Wife, Pokerface, The Apprentice and Hole In The Wall. He has also been instrumental in managing FremantleMedia’s strategic partnerships with companies such as 10 Star Entertainment and Magnum Media. In his new role, Flint will report to Rob Clark and be based in FremantleMedia’s London office.
