Its performance in Malaysia propelled DIVA Universal to the #1 spot during its timeslot among English entertainment genre channels (non-movies, Astro 4+), as viewers lapped up the thrills, drama and romance in the scripted series starring Piper Perabo and executive produced by the director of the Borne trilogy. DIVA Universal’s key demographic was attracted to Covert Affairs as well. This group (Astro Females 20+, Astro Females 25 – 39, Astro Females, 15 – 44) delivered strong ratings, leading Covert Affairs to become the #2 top English Pay-TV show (non-sports) during its timeslot.
