Margaret Conley, formerly a Tokyo correspondent for US-based ABC News, has joined Bloomberg Television as a reporter based out of the company’s new Shanghai bureau. Conley will cover business and political news and conduct interviews with newsmakers across the Asia-Pacific region for Bloomberg’s global television network. Prior to joining Bloomberg, Conley served as a reporter for ABC News in Tokyo, appearing across ABC News’ broadcast, radio and digital media platforms. Conley also reported for ABC News from Indonesia, contributing to the networks’ 2008 election coverage and 2009 Emmy Award-winning inauguration coverage from President Obama’s childhood hometown of Jakarta.
