Singapore – ESPN STAR Sports (ESS) announced a new appointment to its management team with Thomas Finn taking on the role as the new chief financial officer (CFO) and senior vice president. Finn is responsible for overseeing ESPN STAR Sports financial accounting, financial planning, advertising sales administration and MIS departments. Finn will report directly to Manu Sawhney, managing director, ESPN STAR Sports. Finn replaces Gloria Dunn, who enjoyed a successful career with ESPN STAR Sports for nearly 14 years. Dunn will be relocating to the USA with her family. Finn joins ESPN STAR Sports from The Walt Disney Company where he was responsible for the development of Walt Disney’s enterprise-wide long-range, annual and capital plans and earnings forecasts, as well as managing all aspects of financial analysis and corporate evaluation of all media networks. Finn began his career in operations with Oracle Corporation before starting his career in media industry with Paramount Pictures as an Executive Director in Business Development for seven years. Following Paramount, Finn enjoyed a short and successful stint at Television New Zealand, and returned to the USA to join The Walt Disney Company where he has been for the past nine years.
