Singapore – Universal Channel will debut its big budget conspiracy thriller, aptly named The Event, on Universal Channel (Starhub TV channel 512) at 9pm on October 20. The Event is based on the biggest phenomena in the history of mankind and told in a retrospective timeline based story riddled with secrecy, conspiracies and cover-ups. The high-octane conspiracy political thriller unfolds as computer programmer Sean Walker (Jason Ritter, The Class) searches for the truth behind the mysterious disappearance of his girlfriend Leila (Sarah Roemer, Disturbia).
