Sydney – Children’s animation series, the WotWots has landed a global deal with leading television brand, LG. Commencing 1 September 2010 to 31 August 2011, footage from the WotWots will be shown on LG televisions in LG Global retail stores and the infamous IFA and CES consumer electronic shows. Selected for its colourful, energetic and entertaining animation and superb HD quality, the WotWots is a 52 x 10 minute series which first launched in New Zealand on TVNZ in 2009. the WotWots has become one of the country’s most loved pre-school properties and is currently seen on TV2 and TVNZ6 daily. the WotWots arrived in Australia in 2009 on ABC1 and ABC2 with Australian pre-schoolers embracing SpottyWot and DottyWot, placing the series in the top 7% of programming for the 0-4 demographic for the year. the WotWots airs daily on ABC For Kids on 2, the country’s leading broadcaster for pre-schoolers.
