Singapore – ESPN STAR Sports (ESS) announced a new appointment to its management team with Wenjia Fang taking on the role as managing director and chief representative of ESS China office. Wenjia will report directly to Manu Sawhney, managing director of ESPN STAR Sports. “With Wenjia’s vast and valuable business experience and a deep understanding of the China market, she will be a valuable asset to our team and our business in this exciting market. Wenjia brings a wealth of experience and business insights to the role and I am confident she will do well as our new head of China, a market with many fast-growing opportunities,” Sawhney said. Wenjia will be based in Beijing, and will be responsible for the strategic direction and growth of ESPN STAR Sports’ operations in China, as well as managing ESS’s business relationships with partners and affiliates in the country.
