London – Passengers on airlines from Europe, Middle East, Asia and Latin America will now be able to enjoy a range of programming from Travel Channel. The programmes are available on selected international airlines as part of their on-board In Flight Entertainment (IFE) offer. The programmes discover the culture, traditions and cuisine of a range of destinations, with languages versions showing in English, Russian and Portuguese. A total of 551 aircraft will be crossing the globe with favourites including Journey into Wine and Flavours of Chile on the viewing menu this spring and summer. Airlines comprise Chile’s LAN airlines, Tam airlines Brazil, Oman Air, Kazakhstan’s Air Astana, TAP Portugal, Iberia airlines and Thai Airways; with more major carriers currently in negotiation.
