Bandar Seri Begawan – A documentary film about the culture, nature and wildlife of Brunei Darussalam that was filmed by Nippon TV in February this year has proven a big hit in Japan, reports BruDirect.com. The documentary, which was aired by Nippon TV on its programme Sekai No Hate Made Itte (Let’s Explore the World) on channel 4, garnered a surprising 29 percent viewership Japan-wide. The documentary was aired on March 14, not only in Japan but also in over 193 countries via cable TV. According to Travel Trade Agencies (Brunei), due to consistent public demand, the documentary could get a replay at any time in the coming months. Meanwhile, according to the report, more Japanese TV broadcast media houses such as NHK and ITTE Q will be carrying out filming in Brunei through the efforts of Travel Trade Agencies (Brunei) and the Japanese partners, with the cooperation of the Brunei government.
