London – KidsCo, the international children’s channel announced the launch of Australian animated adventure series The Beach Crew in more than 80 countries, from Spain to Taiwan. Eighteen x 5 minute episodes of the children’s show will air on KidsCo in Australia from June 7. The Beach Crew will screen on KidsCo on weekdays at 7.10am, 8.05am and 4pm and weekends at 7am, 8.15am, 4.20pm and 4.50pm. It will screen across KidsCo’s Asia-Pacific feed as well as on KidsCo’s international feed in September 2010. The Beach Crew has an environmental theme and follows the crime fighting adventures of Billy Boogie, Sammy Surfboard and Mini Malibu as they seek to protect their beach from the dastardly plans of Cash Coin and Slimy Seaweed. It will be screened in 18 languages – including Spanish and Mandarin – when it broadcasts internationally on KidsCo.
