Singapore – ESPN STAR Sports (ESS) organized the second edition of the Formula DRIFT ProAm Series 2009 Presented by the Singapore Traffic Police and this year’s event was bolstered by the addition of three new major sponsors comprising of the Singapore Traffic Police, Nissan and Goodyear. Held in Singapore from 4-5 July 2009, the Formula DRIFT ProAm Series 2009 Presented by the Singapore Traffic Police is aimed at expanding and building the sport of drifting outside of North America. Formula DRIFT Holdings LLC is the first and only sanctioned and recognized North American professional championship drifting series.
