Kuala Lumpur – Total Sports Asia (TSA) has secured exclusive media rights for the French Football Ligue 1 for distribution into selected Southeast Asian markets. A deal was reached between TSA with Canal+ Events, owners of the international audiovisual rights for the Ligue 1. The deal runs from the 2009/10 season for four years, ending with the 2012/13. Total Sports Asia will market rights in Thailand, Indonesia, Timor Leste, The Philippines, Malaysia, Brunei, Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam.
