New York/Seoul – HISTORY HD has launched on SkyLife in Korea, the result of an agreement between AETN International, a division of A&E Television Networks (AETN), and SkyLife. HISTORY HD is also available in Korea on Korea Telecom’s IPTV platform, MegaTV. HISTORY HD is broadcast 100 percent HD content, and is fully languaged in Korean. The channel will offer a variety of programs in HD, including Cities of the Underworld, The Universe, Ax Men, Dogfights, Ancient Discoveries and Ice Road Truckers. In addition to SkyLife and MegaTV, HISTORY HD programming is available via branded VOD services on all three IPTV platforms in Korea, including MegaTV, SK Broadband (formerly Hanaro) and LG.
