Manila – Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific and SKYCABLE announced the launch of Discovery HD, the company’s international HD network, in the Philippines. Discovery HD is available on channel 164 and will launch as part of SKYCABLE’s high definition TV (HDtv) offering. The SKYCABLE HD service is initially available in Metro Manila only. Discovery now operates HD services in six markets in the region including Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, the Philippines, Singapore and South Korea.
