Hong Kong – STAR announced that it has signed distribution deals with two new platforms in Vietnam. Effective immediately, STAR Movies, STAR World and Channel [V] International will be available on Vietnam’s IPTV platform, iTV. Also with immediate effect, STAR Movies will launch on DTH platform, VTC. The channels are currently offered on the basic tier of both platforms. STAR currently distributes eight channels (Star Movies, Star World, Channel [V] International, Star Plus, Phoenix Chinese Channel, Phoenix InfoNews, Star Sports and ESPN) in Vietnam through deals with four cable operators including VCTV, Nacencomm, SCTV and HTV Choice Centre.
