Singapore – It has been announced that Nic van Zwanenberg, BBC Worldwide Channels’ director, distribution and development, Greater and Indo-China, will be leaving the company at the end of December 2008. During his 15 years with BBC World News and BBC Worldwide, Nic managed the distribution business for BBC World News in East Asia as well as BBC Worldwide’s channels in Greater and Indo China. Following the alignment of BBC World News with BBC Worldwide Channels, van Zwanenberg gained a greater portfolio of channels, but his geographical remit was revised from East Asia – to Greater and Indo China. Company issued statement says van Zwanenberg plans to remain in Hong Kong for the immediate future.
