Tokyo – Tokyo Broadcasting System Inc has sued ABC in the US, claiming that obstacle course programme Wipeout copies TBS TV properties, including Takeshi’s Castle. Law suit was reportedly filed with the US District Court in Los Angeles, with seeking an injunction that ABC ceases to air Wipeout and pays damages over the alleged infringement of copyrights to TBS shows. A TBS statement said, “‘Wipeout’ resembles our programs relating to multiple points including the sequence of events, obstacle courses and filming techniques.”
