Paris – Gary Wang, founder and CEO of Tudou, China’s leading video sharing platform, will deliver a keynote at MIPCOM 2008. The address will be given on October 16 within the framework of a day of debate dedicated to the convergence between TV, video sharing online communities and video games. The 24th edition of MIPCOM runs 13 – 17 October at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes. Known as both the YouTube and the Hulu of China, Tudou currently delivers over 100 million videos daily to more than 10 million visitors. Wang will present MIPCOM participants with the details and dynamics at the heart of this activity in a country that now has more than 250 million web users. Wang will also look at the development and growth of the market in China, the implications for the movie and audiovisual industries, and will reveal his vision of the future.
