Hong Kong – AETN All Asia Networks Pte Ltd (AAAN) and now TV announced the launch of The History Channel HD (HISTORY HD) in Hong Kong on September 8. This marks the fourth AAAN brand to debut in Hong Kong on now TV, following launch of The Biography Channel, The History Channel and Crime & Investigation Network. Available on now TV’s channel 225, HISTORY HD’s programming covers a diversity of historical genres ranging from military to contemporary history and technology to natural history, as well as science, archaeology and pop culture. Broadcasting 100 percent HD content – scheduled separately from standard definition service – HISTORY HD will offer a variety of acclaimed programs like Cities of the Underworld, The Universe, Ax Men, Dogfights, Ancient Discoveries and Ice Road Truckers.
