Singapore – CNBC is strengthening non-business day programming in Asia Pacific by launching an enhanced 12 hour weekend ‘lifestyle’ block called CNBC Life, commissioning a series of special segments as well as documentaries. “The non business day programming strategy is to complement our business day programming. During the business day, we show our viewers how to make and protect their wealth. Our non business day programs will focus on how best to spend and enjoy it,” said John Casey, director of news and programming, CNBC Asia Pacific. Launching September 20, CNBC Life features 12 hours of carefully selected premium programming, covering six different genres. CNBC Asia Pacific will broadcast the latest in executive travel, luxury lifestyle, sports, entertainment, personal finance and current affairs, every weekend from 12 pm to 12 am.
