London – Channel provider Chello Zone has launched its channel Zone Club in the Middle East. The deal with Orbit Communications means the channel will now air in 23 territories in across the Middle East In a new departure the general entertainment channel Zone Club will be locally branded ‘The Hollywood Channel’ by Orbit and will focus on offering lifestyle entertainment programming for women. Airing in both English and Arabic, titles available on the channel for the first time in the region will include Caribbean Work Out, Yummy Mummy, Saturday Cooks and Arresting Design. The arrival of Zone Club means that Chello Zone’s complete channel portfolio is now available on each of the different platforms in the Middle East. Extreme Sports launched with Orbit this Summer, Zone Reality is broadcast on ADD and both Extreme Sports and pre-schooler’s channel Jim Jam air on Showtime.
