BBC Worldwide announced the appointment of Inez Albert as its new digital sales director, Asia. Albert joins as part of the Asian sales team to provide digital leadership and insight and to drive advertising sales across BBC Worldwide’s digital channels in Asian markets. Albert was previously the regional sales director for Forbes.com in Asia and brings over 10 years experience in media sales in the region across traditional and digital channels. Albert will be responsible for driving regional advertising sales on BBC.com, the ad-funded international expression of the BBC website outside the UK. Sunita Rajan, VP sales, Asia and Australasia, advertising sales, said, “Inez is bringing with her a great depth of experience and contacts in the digital space that will help us maximise our potential in Asia.”
